Mission Statement

The mission of The Orchard is to serve as a classically minded Christian educational cooperative (co-op). Educational experiences are designed to support homeschool families.

Vision Statement

The vision of The Orchard is to fulfill our mission through:

• Offering meaningful co-op classes that support students as they move through the developmental stages of the trivium: grammar, logic, and rhetoric.

• Opportunities for student demonstration, performance, and creative expression.

• Fostering connection through scripture reading, fellowship, and mentorship.

• Regular field trips.

• Times of celebration such as Thanksgiving and End of Year Celebration.

Statement of Faith

The Orchard presents all curricula from a Christian world view, believing and teaching that Christ is the center of our lives and the Bible is the absolute authority.

• We believe in the authority of scripture. The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God.

• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

• We believe the fullness of the Holy Spirit is available to all believers.

• We believe that man was created in God's image, male and female, is born a sinner by nature because of the fall of Adam, and must be born again by the Spirit of God to be saved.

• We believe that salvation is a gift of God and is received by man through personal faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for sin.

• We believe we are members of one body in Christ, and we should bear with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit.

• We believe that marriage is the union of one man with one woman as defined in the scriptures.
